What do I treat?
I see mental health in a simple, yet profound way: as humans, we often struggle to live authentically as the people God has called us to be. The person we truly are can become hidden behind trauma, life’s challenges, and the hard lessons that inevitably come our way.
When this happens, we begin reacting to life instead of responding with intention. Relationships suffer, we settle for comfort or convenience, and we lose connection with who we truly are.
This internal struggle often shows up as anxiety, depression, OCD, suicidality, or other mental health concerns. Sometimes, we develop coping habits that feel helpful but are ultimately unproductive—substance use, compulsive behaviors, or other patterns that numb or distract from the underlying issues.
These symptoms and behaviors are not meaningless; they point to the deeper concerns that need attention. Real change begins when we address these core issues.
My approach helps you take intentional control of your life. Together, we explore the depth of who you are, who you are called to be, and who you are currently showing up as. You’ll learn adaptive, flexible strategies that are authentically yours, helping you break free from unhelpful patterns. As this work unfolds, you’ll develop a deeper sense of security and wholeness—in relationship with God, with yourself, and with others.
